The Beaches
More than 30 Km of coastline characterized the Residential Park of Portobello.The vegetation of the Mediterranean maquis with juniper and pine trees are the background of beautiful white sandy beaches and coves formed by rocks of polished granite.
Among the best known beaches: Baja dell’Amore, a dream beach with tamarisk trees for shade, Baia dell’Uomo, where even small boats can dock, the famous beach of Lu Culumbu, the charming Pink Beach characterized by the peculiar color of granite sand , the Spiaggia del Geometra, with the rock near the elephant.
Other beaches, such as Punta Caneddi and Punta Li Francesi are more isolated, ideal for lovers of privacy. Continuing west you will find a long sandy coastline of Vignola, while to the east there are the picturesque town of Santa Teresa, Capo Testa and the beach of Baia Santa Reparata.
The natural environment that characterizes this part of Gallura is strong and wild , with an unusual morphology which alternates in steep terrain slopes down to the sea , an exceptional natural territory where the rugged mountains meet the clearest sea.
