The Villas of Portobello
Harmonious Houses in privileged position on the sea
In the unique environmental context that characterizes the Residential Park Portobello di Gallura, are the “work of art ” of the engineer and architect Carlo Emanuele Tiscornia.
Initially conceived as “caves”, the villas are built on one level, set in the rocks and protected by the lush vegetation. Large windows give light to the spaces and the use of the same flooring for indoor and outdoor spaces, help to accentuate the sense of continuity between the home and the environment that surrounds it.
The villas are all harmoniously different from each other as well as different are the tastes and passions of each of us.
Unusual curved lines waft gently from the ground to the sky, giving to the villas the look of sails spread in the clear and windy sky of Gallura, creating an illusion of continuity between land and sea.
One of the founders, Eng. Tiscornia (in addition to Caccia Dominioni, Vietti e Magistretti) is the designers of many houses of the Park. Each home is nestled in the rocks and in the Mediterranean maquis and is unique and forged in primitive forms, which recall the natural elements.
primitive forms, which recall the natural elements. That is how the house is conceived as a space suitable for living in full contact with nature: the villas are inserted into the surrounding, the materials are all natural and reproduce the brightness of the environment.
